April

April is the founder of the Moose. She is a California native and began her career 10 years ago with Toni & Guy in Orange County Ca., where she worked and trained with some of the best educators in the industry. She also has continued advanced training with the American Crew Academy. She loves creating styles that range from classic to edgy.

After working at several salons, she worked at one salon that had separate sides for men and women  and discovered the men′s side was more fitting to her personality. She decided she wanted to specialize in men′s hair and grooming. She loves the nostalgia of the classic barbershop, the look of dark wood & leather, the history and character of vintage pictures and  has always enjoyed a good cigar.

April combined what she loves with her skills as a stylist and created a modernized barbershop with the services of an upscale salon. She loves Nashville and the opportunities it has given her

Toni

Toni grew up in Southern California and began her career doing hair at the age of 20. She attended The Paul Mitchell School, in Costa Mesa, CA. Upon receiving her license, she furthered her education with Toni & Guy in Orange County, where she worked along side some of the best educators and stylists in the industry. Toni also has continued advanced education with American Crew Academy.

Her long time friend, April, relocated to Nashville and decided to open the Moose. After visiting Nashville she loved the city and the concept of the Moose and decided to relocate.

Toni is a versatile stylist that embraces anything from classic commercial to more wild and out of the ordinary looks. She is always ready to try new styles with her clients.
